sudden interest in cooking

have been doing some cooking lately! hehz a sudden interest in cooking. mayb cos of my working environment, serving dishes in n outta the kitchen, somehow it perks me a lil too ;)

2 days back i grilled black pepper steak. went to the supermarket to look for the base - brown sauce. sadly, i was only satisfied with a powder form of "Beef Gravy" anyone knws where to get brown sauce, do let me knw! guess its too diff for me to make brown sauce.. haha i dun think i have all the ingredients and knowledge needed man. it went pretty well, brother says it tasted great, dad and myself thinks its a lil too well done.. slightly rare in the inside wld be purrrfect! mamamiaaa~

yesterday! made a buttery lemon mayo sauce to go along with my mom's deep fried chicken. wooo. it was good ;) butter lemon and mayo have great taste on itself already yeah..

today, juz cooked pasta with clams in chardonnay sauce + mushroom soup..the best of all manz! seriously thought it was good.. haha self-praise is no praise i knw. but i trust my family. they finished up everything...

*too engrossed into cooking, forgot to take photos! grrr..

after 3 days of cooking, hey, i guess im really interested man.. maybe cos im slightly more free now, have more time to research on the recipe and all. brother says when my interest die off, they will start missing western food on the dining table. mom&granny still pros in chinese cuisine afterall ;) its only when i cook, they get to taste some steaks n pastas..

bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad one. i guess yuki, sze mun, muzzy and ivan were the only reason that made times fly by.. though i dunno them that well, we have been talking quite alot.. its nice having some familiar faces ard!

but those who'll be attached to BQT in the subsequent weeks, juz be prepared to slack slack slack slack. sleep sleep sleep sleeeeepppp! and chit chat chit chat chit chat..

juz tagged on Vanus's blog saying the only good thing abt BQT is their staff meal.. big big portions, very very yummy~! but saddddlyyy, since yest Michael Poore no longer allow us, students attached to banquet, to have the staff meals there..due to cost cutting =/ how much can a plate of staff meal get man! seriously =X

anyway they will split the students up to 2 shifts.. 8am to 12noon or 1pm to 5pm. im on morning shift through the week.. juz 4 hours, get over and done with! 1 more last day to go tmr..
